Birth Offering is a horror novel about a boy thrust into a living nightmare, and the cumulative psychological impact of evil actions by multiple past generations.
Birth Offering falls into the subgenre of horror often referred to as "creepy kid" horror. While the "creepy kid" label is typically applied when a young character is the villain (whether a psychopath, a ghost, a demon, or a vampire), the genre is also conferred on a novel in which a young protagonist - who may or may not be troubled in some way - has to deal with supernatural circumstances. Birth Offering straddles both types of examples with multiple young characters: a kid fighting for his life – a life which is uniquely meshed with something horrifying - and a cluster of other kids who are pure and undeniably evil.
All of these "creepy kids" gracefully run amok in Birth Offering…
When fourteen year old Ryan Perry moves to his grandmother's coastal home in South Carolina, he is haunted by a malevolent entity masquerading as his double – a specter of ancient evil intent on destroying Ryan. As the hauntings become dangerous, Ryan encounters an additional threat: two menacing feral boys and their caretaker somehow connected to this other twin. Ryan soon realizes that in order to save himself and his family, he must confront the all-to-real presence of an unimaginable evil.
When I met my husband, a concert pianist, the world of classical music revealed itself to me. I met many wonderful people, but I learned many dark secrets about this profession. These musicians work harder than anyone I've ever known. For classically trained musicians, performing venues are scarce and competition is fierce, not only on the stage but also for teaching positions. These people love the stage, the accolades, the recognition. And what of their secrets?
I couldn't resist to take what I had learned and weave it into a story about a man named Cayden Kincaide who left the backwoods of Indiana to pursue his love of music. Three women pass through his life. There is Deneen, the Miss Teen USA beauty queen. She is beautiful but what is this secret that wakes her up in the middle of the night sobbing? And what of Rachel, steel mill heiress and brilliant composer, who knows what she has achieved will slip away from her? And finally we meet Linda, a devoted mother whose secret from a brutal marriage makes her fearful of ever loving again.
This story reveals Cayden's relationships, but inside of him is a still small voice calling to him, calling him back, again, to a life he had shunned and now longs for.

A superb Halloween thriller!
The Three Doors is a paranormal horror/thriller about a group of friends and colleagues who infiltrate a castle inhabited by an evil cult. Jared Helm, the story's main character, arrives at the seacoast castle through an out-of-body experience, and eventually learns that the Satanic group is an offshoot of the Irish and English Hellfire clubs of old. He also learns that the group abducts individuals for ritual sacrifice and murder. The unfortunate victims, Jared's girlfriend being one of them, are held captive in the castle's dungeon until the group is ready for them. The infiltration takes place on the night of Halloween, during the group's grand ritual of Samhain. However, the cult eventually catches on to the fact that they're being watched, and they cause many horrifying scenarios to transpire on the way to the big foray. Numerous demonic interventions act as barriers against each move the friends make. There are many twists and turns in this exciting story, and not many dull moments. But keep in mind, the novel is not for youngsters below high school age, and it's certainly not for the squeamish or those who scare too easily. It's truly a frightening story, one that involves subject matter of Heaven and Hell, Christianity and Satanism, and demonology.
Girls tripped up in snares. Food orgasms. Poisoned pigeons. Love in an Alzheimer's care facility. Yeah, that's Troublemaker.
From the mind of rehabilitated journalist Thom Gabrukiewicz springs 30 flash fiction pieces that span the gamut from funny to whimsical to maliciously dark. Some even border on erotica – yes, nasty bits and such.
Early reviews describe Troublemaker as:
"…funny, romantic and sinister…"
"Typically perverse and often erotic…"
"Gabrukiewicz will leave you laughing and crying in the same short story!"
What is flash fiction exactly? That's hard to pin down, since opinions vary. Let's just say flash fiction is brevity in action, a story that has been whittled down to its essence whilst remaining a complete story, with plot, narrative, character/s, conflict, and resolution. And containing between six and 5,000 words (anything more and it becomes a short story).
Gabrukiewicz is both a communicator and a writer of flash fiction. Most of what he writes is kind of dark, with occasional forays into the light. He's a winner of some awards and has covered two Winter Olympics for Scripps Howard News Service. He's also written a guidebook about hiking with dogs. He's fiercely loyal and has a malevolent side that seems to visit less and less often. He's both a hopeless romantic and a realist. He's currently working on community wellness issues in Wyoming.
The pieces in Troublemaker clock in at 300 to 2,000 words, move along pretty quick, yet are rich and detailed. Got a few minutes? Go ahead, be a Troublemaker.

"A Brief Collection of the Absurd" shines a clarifying light on the lunacy of everyday life in ways that are illuminating and audacious, offering a very different perspective on everything from life to death.
This outrageous and often irreverent book consists of twenty-three stories ranging from how to acquire humility by teasing inanimate objects, to a time in the future when all people are transformed into one of three colors – blue, orange or green.
Also contained within these nearly two dozen stories are twisted themes involving sex, religion, philosophy, other worlds and other life forms, and a couple of hilarious, but disturbing fables examining what can go awry with scientific "advances" like cloning and regeneration.
There's a medium who talks to the dead, cannibalism described in a "tasteful" way, a planet-destroying asteroid, a brief but lethal talk with "Mother" earth, a shape-shifting preacher, sociopathic hit-persons and naked people who worship clouds. Plus, a President of the United States with an uncomfortably strong attraction to a goat.
These, and the other stories are severely warped, laugh-out-loud funny, and wonderfully disorienting free-falls down the rabbit hole of David Bart's unusual mind.

A few years back I posted a question on Linkedin, asking people what their lives would be like if the internet stopped working. The response was quiet interesting . The 'younger' generation, felt that their world would collapse as against the 'older' generation who thought things would be a bit difficult, but, felt that maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing. Considering that this technology is only around thirty years old, the dependency we all have on this technology is frightening. 'IF' the internet was to be taken down, there isn't a plan B to deal with what would be catastrophic implications for society, and therefore OUTERNET was created.
The question poised by this book is whether the internet has proved to be beneficial to society and what would we do, if this technology no longer exists.

The main thing I enjoyed about this book was that it wasn't like every other book that features vampires and werewolves. Instead of a young naive woman falling for the new guy who turns out to be a vampire, the main female character is strong and fights for what she wants, for who she wants. The main male character, Marc is another hot book boyfriend, who you will instantly want to read more about after his introduction into the story. This book has a great storyline with likeable characters and well detailed descriptions, L.T Kelly has done an awesome job and I'm looking forward to reading more of her work.

Most Christians have the wrong perception of God. We miss out on
incredible peace, confidence, and blessings because we don't
understand who our loving Father really is and how he actually
operates in our world. This book confronts and exposes many
all-too-common misconceptions that are found in today's church.
A reader emailed me recently saying, in her words, "I just want you to

Many reviewers have commented that the book is an eye-opener that will
completely change one's understanding of God.
The life-changing truths that are conveyed in the book are the result of
several years of careful research and study. I discovered that the
modern church has drifted far from the historic confessions of the
great leaders of the Protestant movement. We need to return to the
beliefs of our founders, but we first have to understand where we have
The title is obviously a play on the phrase "Who's Your Daddy?" It is
meant to convey that Christians, just like children who don't know
their daddy, are at a big disadvantage when they don't truly
understand the nature and influence of their loving Father.
Kirkus calls it "A bright examination of modern Christianity."

What are 3 important learning from this global financial crisis
applicable to all other businesses?
One – There was lot of mis-information in the global financial system
which led to very poor decision making. All organizations have
blind-spots. We need to identify those and bring them into radar.
Two – Some players knew more than the others, hence it was easier to
manipulate the others. The global financial system was manipulated to
achieve advantage for few. Information Asymmetry plays within and
outside the organizations. They form the tail-risk and therefore
high-potential source of crisis.
Three – Right Information at Right Time holds the key to preventing a
crisis in any business. A new architecture (as shown in page 269) is
reconstructed based on this principle and is a reference framework for
all other business to follow, (if they want to run a crisis proof

using the concept of 'Quality of Information', to make the financial
system as crisis-proof entity. Step-by-step, the book explains the
components of financial system describing in detail the failure of
information and correlating their failures as responsible factors for
the current global crisis.
Quality of Information is a least used concept in the field today
because quality is assumed to be assured with the use of information
technology. The data processed may be of high quality but the
information created may be not of highest quality. The readers will

NIGHT TIDE is the sequel to the 2013 Thriller Award-nominated "Night
Blind," the debut novel in the Blake Sanders thriller series.
Friends don't let friends go to jail and live to tell about it.
Twenty-some years ago, Blake Sanders's best friend Perry Langford was
arrested and convicted of murder for a campus bombing, but Langford
always maintained his innocence, claiming someone else blew up the
building. Not even Blake knows what really happened, and he was there,
a secret he's kept all this time. Now Langford is out of prison, and
he's gunning for all those he holds responsible for his stint in stir,
including Blake. Whoever planted the bomb is cleaning up loose ends,
and the prize they're still seeking after all this time—a
revolutionary battery design—is worth a fortune, even worth selling
out one's own country…and killing for.
Payback, not a cozy but a mystery short on car chases and explosions,
long on memorable characters and situations—a little romance, a little
dismemberment—a soft-boiled police procedural.
What I liked best about this mystery was that it had everything I
expect in a suspenseful page-turner (good plotting, multiple threads,
engaging characters) yet was original and quirky enough to make it all
feel fresh and alive. The setting was novel -- I don't recall seeing

Payback in a new series written by Mar Preston who has three previous
mystery suspense novels set in the Santa Monica Police Department.
Payback is set in a fictional town called Sierra Mountain Village,
Preston says, somewhat like the place where she lives in California.
In Payback the village residents relish the excitement of the grisly
murder of a local politician, which provides endless speculation and
gossip until the thrill becomes fear and dread of what is going to
happen next. Human nature is drawn here with an acid pen, both
villains and the town residents. Other reviewers have called this a

Render (A story of Aligare) is a magical fantasy story. It contains scenes of violence, but focuses on positive themes and good-intentioned people — none of whom are humans.
In the Aligare land, the three peoplekinds have smiled at each other since their first legends were spoken. Be they dragon, weasel or insectoid, a new face in town is always welcomed as a friend. This land has no war or treachery. But the peoplekinds still face trials. "Demons" — the unseen monsters of illness and bad fortune — strike without warning and tear villages apart, unless the three races bring their strengths and skills to each other's aid.
In a mountain crevice, people wait for that aid. Aemets, the insectoid folk, have founded Aloftway village and waited years for strong-winged korvi or adaptable ferrin to help them. But there has been no relief for Aloftway. Unknown to the world, waiting on their missing town founder to return, the aemets work their plantcasting magic and pray for good luck. They'll need that good luck — after the poor harvests, forest fire, and now the shocking wolf attacks on aemet villagers. Folk wonder what sort of demons stalk their forests. Worry-charged gossip says that the aemets of Aloftway would be wise to abandon their village and flee, before they all face death.
Rue, an aemet woman coming of age, isn't willing to wonder or wait any longer. She has questioned her race's passive ways since she was a soft-shelled child, and admired the fearlessness of the dragon-like korvi. Promising herself she'll walk a dauntless new path, Rue learns the trade of foraging food — a courageous job for aemets, the race usually frightened to walk alone. She knows there must be a reason Aloftway's fortune is so poor, and a reason predatory animals are mistaking aemet people for prey. If she uses her head and makes a few key allies, Rue can save this village.
Rue's efforts have barely begun when she meets Felixi — a korvi who hunts wild game with a knife and his advantage of flight. Felixi doesn't care for company, but his sharp tongue belies an honourable heart. Rue is convinced that Felixi has what Aloftway village needs. Not just the hunting skill to feed their guard dogs, the faithful bodyguards who worsen Aloftway's famine with their need for meat. Felixi also knows the ebb and flow of the mountain's ecosystem — and he clearly has a terrible secret he is refusing to share with Rue.
While Rue works to flush that secret into the open, the wolves around her grow ever bolder.
Do you know who and what you are? Do you know where you came from and
where you are going?
What you are is a fragment of "God." Your purpose is to grow and
become. Through growing yourself, you grow God too. You, being a part
of God, grow God by growing yourself.
You are a piece of the Whole. As the parts grow, so does the Whole.
The Creator (God) places himself (you) within himself (your body) to
grow and awaken himself. This is who and what you are, and what you
are doing here.
The Creator has only one place to create and only one substance to
use. He/she must create within himself and must use himself as the
Religions claim that we are sinful and evil. And yet where did that
evil come from and why? What is its purpose?
Similarly, most modern spiritual teachers claim that the "ego" should
be reduced or eliminated, but how many of them show you why the ego
exists in the first place? If the ego is an obstacle to enlightenment,
then why do we have one? How did that happen and what is its purpose?
Nothing exists without being created and/or allowed, including evil,
darkness, chaos, unconsciousness, and yes, the ego too.
'The Day My School Fell Down' is a comic satire on school life, at a
disastrous school in England called Murkworth School. Struggling at
the bottom of the league tables, the stressed and frazzled school
governor, Governor Strand, must come up with a way to save its
crumbling walls, and salvage the school's poor reputation.
Thus begins the haphazard and farcical story of mayhem at Murkworth
School, following teachers like Mr Yadav, a man who detests loud
children and spends most of his time daydreaming of being headmaster.
And pupils such as Eldon Peeble, a troublesome boy, who runs a covert
operation of exchanging photocopied teachers' mark-books amongst
pupils in his form. So the tale begins.
Having attended a very strict school when I was young, I imagined what
it would be like for the opposite to exist - a school that is
unbelievably disheveled and with no real order, the children badly
behaved, and the teachers ranging from wacky, inept, lazy or totally
and utterly despairing.
'The Day My School Fell Down' took five years to write, and the front
cover I designed and painted in oil. It is a satire for all ages. I
very much hope you all enjoy delving into the unusual and quirky
novel, and hopefully laughing along the way!

Lustmord: Anatomy of a Serial Butcher Vol. 1 (of 6) By Kirk Alex
Discharged by the army for being mentally unfit, he parlays his modest disability benefits into a portfolio worth half a million. To avoid paying taxes, he purchases a house in a rundown section of Porn Valley, converts it into a church, and declares himself bishop.
He recruits psychologically troubled transients and former mental patients to create his "staff" and "board members" who are kept, for the most part, in a basement holding cell.
As a way of luring victims to what is essentially a cellar-turned abattoir, he promotes a reputation for being generous with his drugs and cash. He further adds to the scheme by investing in a classic Rolls-Toyce and a shiny new Cadillac.

12:19…The clock is ticking….
Best horror/thriller since IT by Stephen King!
12:19 is absolutely the best horror/thriller I have read in 30+ years. From the first paragraph to the last, he had me glued to the couch and turning pages. Holy smokes! You really do not know what will happen next, and then when it does, you are gasping. Infinito has a way of pulling you into the story; making you feel the sweat trickling down between your shoulder blades. I highly recommend this!
Promises and Delivers Horror By JudyAnn Lorenz
12:19 was labeled 'horror' and it lives up to the promise. Infinito writes a different point of view for the battle between good and evil, not explaining too much, so the reader isn't really sure where the bad guys are hiding until Michael is ready. By that time, you're going to just be peaking for one more page to see where the story really goes.
12:19 is particularly scary on various levels. There was a time when I was ready to say "Too much." and quit reading, but that seemed like a cop-out for the characters who had to stay and either live with their fate or change it. I don't usually choose horror but am lightly acquainted with the author, so when he brought up the possibility of a review, I figured it would be good just to see if this guy had something going. It would all be measured on story flow and editing, not comparison with other horror writers.
The book intends, IMO, to test the reader's spiritual depth and maturity. Infinito makes no effort to make evil even moderately sympathetic; good has a real battle on the various levels of heaven to win out. So, where are you? 12:19 is not for the faint of heart. A scary, spiritual book that isn't written by or to be read by goody-two-shoes. The profanity and prurient parts would warm the cockles of a gangsta's heart. But the story is there and it flows through the crevasses of terror in proper order.
So, thank you, Michael, for asking me to review your book. If you hadn't brought it up, I wouldn't have come to the party.
Shocking twists and a rip-roaring suspenseful read By Lisa Regan
In his second novel, Michael Infinito does not disappoint. 12:19 is a page-turning, suspenseful read with a very intriguing premise. This was a book that I simply could not put down. Infinito keeps the pace pretty breakneck. This book is filled with shocking twists and turns that you'll never see coming. Several times I found myself gasping audibly and having to pick my jaw up off the floor! Just when you think you've got it all figured out, the book turns everything you know on its head. These are my favorite kinds of reads. You won't be able to sleep after you've read this--and I think that's a sign of a great writer. Atmospheric, creepy, and pulse-pounding! Don't miss this one!

In Siege of Daylight is an epic fantasy with the depth of Tolkien, the
fun of Fritz Lieber, the prose of Tad Williams and a touch of the
brooding darkness of George R. R. Martin. If you are a fan of epic
fantasy told from multiple viewpoints, with action wedged in-between a
dash of politics, revenge, and ancient magic seeping in around the edges
of everyday life, then this is the book, and the series, you've been
waiting for. You won't just read about characters living in a magical
world, you'll join them there.
Calvraign is an apprentice to the king's bard. His studies are filled
with prophecy, romance, mythic enemies, and magic, and he contents
himself with such fantasies until the day that he is suddenly called to
the capital city. His best friend Callagh, the most skilled huntress in
their village, senses something isn't right with Calvraign's hasty
summons and follows him. Her instincts prove true, as his arrival throws
the king's court into chaos, and the two are abruptly torn from their
simple country life and plunged into a real-life version of Calvraign's
tales. A menacing prophecy reveals that an all-encompassing dark magic
has already been loosed upon the world, and there is only one way to
stop it. Calvraign must reverse the Darkening before treachery takes the
life of the crown prince and plunges the kingdom of Providayne into
chaos. And Callagh must keep him alive long enough to do it….
