"This is an unusual and rewarding romance and one of the rare books that I will read a second time. I hope to see more on Kindle by this author." ~ LaylaReader

"I could not put The Gallows' Bounty down! I love romance and mystery. This book had both. The twists and turns kept me wanting to read more. I can't wait to read a sequel to this book or more from this up and coming author. It was well worth the money. Read and enjoy!" ~ Romance Lady

Every woman's had a day where she can't stand her man, but Willow Donovan's finally had enough and she's about to hang for killing Brett Roberts. But when a tall, intimidating stranger interferes with her hanging, she can't help but wonder if death may have been more merciful: she's never known a man's love, but she's more than familiar with a man's lust.

Every man has it out for Butcher Boden, a notorious bounty hunter known throughout the rough Dakota Territories, so he's bent on keeping out of trouble, but one look at Willow Donovan and the Butcher forgets everything he knows about criminals and remembers everything he can't forget about protecting the weak. As quick as his draw, he saves her life, offers her his name, and lends her his strength.

However, it isn't long before Butcher Boden realizes his bride isn't as weak as she might appear. Matter of fact, she might just be strong enough to work her way into his heart. Now he just has to convince her that he's a man she can trust with her love.

But love is the one thing Willow's terrified to give. She's learned life's cruel lessons all too well, and succumbing to her husband's gentle overtures scares her more than the secrets she holds and the enemies who want her and the Butcher dead.

Can the woman who had every reason to die embrace the love of a man who offers her every reason to live?

About the author: There's nothing more frustrating than having more stories to tell than you have time to write, but that does mean the stories that make it to the page are the ones that have been with me for a long time and have touched me the most. As a wife, a mother of four, and a high school English teacher, writing happens for me in the quiet of the night, in the middle of the living room with the TV blaring, and in the time it takes for my kids to walk to the car after school. Even through all of that, my characters find life. I hope you enjoy getting to know them as much as I have.
