A Kindle Reader had this to say about Sentinel: "While there is plenty here to like if you are a sci-fi fan, I liked Sentinel because it wasn't your typical sci-fi story. It moved quickly and had the right amount of technical things (i.e., not too much). Plenty of twists and turns that fit in the story line well. People actually had sex on another planet! (Don't worry, it was nothing graphic, but it was a stark contrast to the typical dull, sterile environments of most sci-fi tales.) And while it didn't attempt to take any firm theological positions, the story actually acknowledged the question of God and how He would fit into all this. Whether you like sci-fi or not, I recommend Sentinel."
