Reader Review:
This YA book has spunk. It has high school life. It has romance, emotion and drama. It's a story of love and hope. It's beautiful and charming...and I just loved it! Alyssa Maddow has the perfect life and the perfect boyfriend...until one day he's caught with another gal. Her childhood friend, Brent (who goes to a different school) is willing to play the role of new boyfriend and her life suddenly gets more complicated.

One thing I loved about Alyssa was that she was a hockey fan. I am too! I was able to connect with her as she is a very likeable character. I loved the other characters introduced as well. The flow is nice with a perfect blend of dialogue and narration. The author brought me into Alyssa's world, gripped me tight, and never let go.

I can't tell you the ending, but I can tell you that I cried. "Saving Face" is engaging, entertaining, exciting, and a good blend of romance and drama. I would definitely read more from this author. This book is definitely worth my 5 stars!
