Who is God? Who am I? Why am I here? What is the meaning of it all?

Fortunately, most of us are too busy living to be confronted by the truth of a possible answer. However, one simple story, I Am That I Am, proposes to provide an answer for everyone- and to do it without the prescribed morality of a specific religion.

Margaret works in the necrology department of the United States Census Bureau. That is to say, she keeps track of the number of citizens dying every day. Surrounded by death and devoid of friends or family, Margaret doubts the purpose of identity and life itself. She is content with an empty existence until the day she is confronted by stranger who informs her of a startling fact- she is God. Margaret is quickly intoxicated by the power this man bestows upon her. She descends on a path of violence and murder, eliminating whomever she chooses. However, Margaret discovers that ultimate decadence is as unfulfilling as the vapid life she has left behind. She must learn to find a balance with nature- her own nature, human nature, and the nature of life itself.

Just as people can take on many identities at any given time, I Am That I Am exists across genres. It is at once a thriller, a science fiction inspired dream, and a philosophical treatise. But, it is always engrossing, fast-paced, and filled with unique and vibrant imagery. Readers move quickly through a one-of-a-kind adventure and exit with a greater understanding of their place in life, space, and time.
