Our Love is not a typical YA romance novel. The story has a lot of twists and turns that makes readers wonder will Charlie and Michael's relationship survive or will they let their issues overtake them. I personally felt the relationship between the two helped them realize who they were as a couple as well as individually and I think readers will understand that as they read the story from beginning to end.
