The Hope Chest Series by Pam McCutcheon, P.J. Bishop, Karen Fox, Laura Hayden and Maureen McKade

An antique hope chest containing five unique objects . . . five people inexorably drawn to the items inside . . . each sent to the past where they must accomplish a task and find their own path to true love with the help of a magical matchmaker determined to bring soul mates together, even across time.

The Mesmerist by Pam McCutcheon
It's no secret that I love dogs. I have three pups who keep me company as I write. Not only does my heroine, Gina Charles, share my love for canine companions, I used my own experience with a cuddly ghost to start her adventures with Drake Manton.

The Lawman by P.J. Gill
The idea for this series started when our critique group met for dinner at a restaurant that used butcher paper for table cloths and provided crayons to restless children. That was a big mistake! Give writers blank paper and something to write with and the inevitable will happen.  In our case, a couple of hours later, we had the basis for our series with the mesmerist, the lawman, the prince, the thief and the Pinkerton.

The Prince by Karen Fox
At first, we planned to set our stories in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Then we shifted to a hotel suspiciously similar to The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. But finally, we decided to use the magnificent Homestead Hotel located in Warm Springs Virginia as the basis for the Chesterfield Hotel.

The Thief by Laura Hayden
Whereas the other stories feature heroines who go back in time, my hero, a thief known only as Delgatto, goes back in time in hopes of recovering a lost family heirloom. I used to say that I based my "king of thieves" on Autolycus from XENA, but maybe there's a little Sam Axe (BURN NOTICE) in there, too. Can you tell I like Bruce Campbell?

The Pinkerton by Maureen McKade
My favorite review (so far!) for our series is from Romantic Times: "All well-crafted stories, The Hope Chest series comes alive in the glittering Victorian age when Miss Sparrow, a dedicated hotel chatelaine, brings predestined lovers together through time travel."
