The Shanghai Circle - an action thriller by Tony Henderson

Rather than inserting my novel blurb I’ve copied an unsolicited review from someone who lived in China, and is a respected author and expert on this area of the world.

‘I've read so much about pre-WWII Shanghai that I thought there really couldn't be much else to write about. How wrong I was! Tony Henderson has captured the vice and sin of 1930s Shanghai unlike other authors. The story centers around a triad called the Sung Society and a British company called Guest's (akin to Jardine's or Swire). The story moves quickly with plenty of action and suspense. By the time I got to the end, I wanted to know what would happen next. And thankfully Henderson has planned for two more novels to follow. The next novel will take place in Hong Kong. I can't wait!’

And yes, I have written the next two, The Hong Kong Circle and The Mao Circle, but have just reduced the price of the first book in the series, The Shanghai Circle, to 0.99cents, (even though it says $1.09 here in Spain where I’m writing this!). This is to encourage potential readers to follow my characters in three novels from 1936 to 1973 written about this exciting and captivating part of the world.
