John J Jessop co-wrote this book with his daughter, Jacqueline. The story was inspired by a once-in-a-lifetime 30-day, 7,600-mile cross-country road trip they took together in 2016. While the destinations may be real, all events in the book are hilariously fictitious.
John is a pharmacologist with a long career in the pharmaceutical industry, who retired to write murder mysteries and make people laugh. Jacqueline is a marketing expert in NYC with an MBA and a degree in media arts and design. She also designed the book cover.
Murder by Road Trip is the second book in the Dr. Jason Longfellow, PI series. The books are standalone and do not need to be read in any particular order.
