To the average tourist in Rome, Maria is only a dotty old lady who tends a colony of feral cats.  But as Maria reminds her cats, and us, things are not always as they seem.  There is far more to Maria than meets the eye, and the cats are enchanted, too.  The great Cardinal Mezzaluna has come to Maria with an urgent request. His time is running short.  On the surface it seems impossible to grant.  But things are indeed rarely as they seem.  For anyone who has truly loved another and places total trust in Cat Lady, once Maria and her cats  swing into action, the impossible is only an illusion.
