Prepare Now for a Challenging Job Market in the Future by Dan Vale book promotion

The U.S. COVID-19 recession/depression probably will be with us for some time to come. This is the case because other factors also are causing and will cause a weak job market in the U.S. Examples of other such factors are automation of jobs, international trade deals, our national debt, and the contracting out of full time jobs into part-time or temporary jobs. Furthermore, many Baby Boomers cannot afford to retire. Thus, they will create fewer vacancies for younger workers.

You need a plan to survive and thrive in such a cutthroat job market. This book will give you such a plan. In this book, you will learn skills and knowledges that will help you in any type of job market of the future. You will learn how to:

-get out of debt and save money for periods of unemployment

-start and operate a small business that can be a lifesaver during times of unemployment

-use hobbies, a healthy diet, and exercise to keep yourself mentally and physically healthy in times of uncertain healthcare

-use the best job survival skills to be employed until you want a change of jobs
-Use the best job search skills to find another good job quickly.

-develop strong computer skills that will help you to thrive in the increasingly automated jobs of the future

This book has many links that will allow you to learn, in more depth, about the topics that are linked. If you feel confident about your knowledge of a linked topic, you can choose not to click on that link. Thus, you have flexibility regarding which topics you will study more thoroughly.

I have a PhD in Counselor Education. I have worked for over 30 years in university and government settings. I have been a career counselor, a director of a career counseling center, a graduate school instructor, and a career consultant.

As the Career Examiner for the Examiner Online Newspaper, from 2009 to 2017, I published 270 career related articles. I had multiple endorsements and subscribers, and in April 2016 alone, I had over 19,000 page reads.

These are the web sites where I have published two of my more recent articles:

If you prepare now, you will develop more of these skills than will those who procrastinate. Prepare now and thrive rather than just survive.
