Manic Monday - kindle ebook by Robert Michael

Jake Monday is an assassin. At least, that is what he remembers. High profile assassins working for global organizations powerful enough to change world events get tons of perks: women, cars, money, and incredible scenery. Most people would find that sort of life a nice trade-off for the grind of eliminating A-list targets.

Not Jake.

He is the best at what he does. No frills execution. Specialty with using a knife or simply making things look like an "accident." The organization he works for, The Galbraith Alliance, finds "solutions" for their clients world-wide using a variety of methods. Sometimes, they send their wet work specialist team. That would be Jake. He prefers to work alone, so "team" might be stretching it a bit.

The problem for Jake is that a new client poses a conflict of interest within Galbraith. Jake suddenly finds himself with a conscience. Instead of eliminating his target, he works to save her. Once Jake goes down that road, his job is not the only thing in jeopardy. His last assignment with Galbraith promises to be either the end of line, or the beginning of a new chapter.

The stakes are legendary, the danger acute, and the world may never be the same.
