Solid Stone: Revolving Door - an Erotic Romance book promotion by E.G. Patrick

Solid Stone: Revolving Door - an Erotic Romance book promotion by E.G. Patrick
The review said....”Steamy and sensual along with the most mind blowing sex, which covers countless pages of E. G. Patrick’s “Solid Stone,” this book entices and excites. When readers think there is no other way for the author to create an interesting and arousing sex scene, they are not let down. Patrick opens doors to a world that seems vaguely familiar and sometimes titters toward the realm of fan-fiction. Erotic and romance book lovers can easily point out some similarities to E. L. James trilogy, but don’t get it twisted, Patrick is no copycat. With a twist of its own, “Solid Stone” takes off full throttle in an intriguing and unpredictable direction that will have you forgetting about Christian…Who?”

Working with troubled kids myself, it relates a lot to me. The story just gets up and goes from the beginning. A little ambiguity and good character relationships. - Response from a satisfied reader for The Guide.

Fade Route - A Mystery By David Chill

http://www.amazon.com/Fade-Route-Burnside-Mysteries-ebook/dp/B00E9N6WOM

Kindle Countdown Deal - just $0.99!

A local politician is murdered and there's one obvious suspect.  But everything seems too cut and dried for Burnside's taste. While the police quickly pinpoint a likely culprit, Burnside -- the former USC football star turned private eye --  pushes forward into an investigation that reveals more and more possible suspects,  all with their own motives. With little more to go on than his gut feeling, Burnside pokes at everything around him as he tries to untangle a web of deceit that threatens to take down an entire community.

The story is set on the outskirts of Los Angeles, in a seaside town that is both serenely gorgeous and brutally stark. It is a community that is home to the very rich and the very poor, a place that contains more than its share of wealth, sin, beauty and despair.

Fade Route is the second book in the Burnside series, which now spans six novels. Fade Route is a worthy follow up to David Chill's acclaimed first novel, Post Pattern. A sharply crafted story, Fade Route combines all the elements of a classic murder mystery, with biting humor and numerous plot twists. It is a page turner that will keep the reader guessing, until the jaw dropping climax reveals an ending that  is both surprising and satisfying.

Scandalicious Book Reviews of Romance Books

Can one woman change an age-old institution like publishing? Probably not, but Kate Mitchell sure wants to try. As a publicist with a large, respected New York publishing house, Kate finds herself at the mercy of a broken publishing system, books that don’t sell, and author egos that are often, well, as big as the island of Manhattan.

Enter the star editor, MacDermott Ellis: Tall, handsome, charismatic, married, and ready to save the day. Then there’s Allan Lavigne, once a revered author—now as forgotten as last year’s bestsellers and his nephew Nick: Tall, gorgeous, sweet, single, and ready to sweep Kate off her feet. Kate wants to do the right thing but her hormones seem to be driving her decisions.
As Kate tries to navigate the landmine of publicity, over-the-top author expectations, and the careful dance of “I’m sorry, your book isn’t on the bestseller list this week,” she also finds authors who are painfully overlooked by a publisher wanting more romance and sex, more celebrities, and more scandal.

Welcome to the world of publishing. The ego has landed.

My Father's Son - a memoir by John Davis

http://www.amazon.com/My-Fathers-Son-John-Davis-ebook/dp/B019HPCDS0

A compelling memoir of Fathers, Sons and the Brooklyn streets.
Told with raw honesty and deep emotion, My Father's Son is a memoir of fear, abuse, survival, and identity.

"My earliest memory is of a gun."
That gun was in his father's hand - and it was pointed at his mother's head.

John Davis grew up in the 1970s and '80s on the rough streets of Brooklyn, a place where no one thought twice when parents smacked around their kids-or each other. At the center of the tumultuous neighborhood, and John's world, was his larger-than-life father, Roberto. The Argentinean butcher and kingpin drug dealer was a sadistic bully whose mercurial temper left a trail of tears and chaos across his family. John, in particular, seemed to bear the brunt of Roberto's wildly swinging moods. Any wrong word could cause an explosion. Every knock on the door might be one of Roberto's enemies, or the police.

In his publishing debut, Davis recounts how he spent his childhood in constant terror and his teen years learning to fight back. But it was much later, as an adult, that he learned the most shocking thing of all about his father, his past, and himself. Told with raw honesty and deep emotion, My Father's Son is a memoir of fear, abuse, survival, and identity.

Weary of war, Dragonetz uses Jewish money and Moorish expertise to build that most modern of inventions, a papermill, arousing the wrath of the Church. Their enemies gather, ready to light the political and religious powder-keg of medieval Narbonne.

Set in the period following the Second Crusade, Jean Gill's spellbinding romantic thrillers evoke medieval France with breathtaking accuracy. The characters leap off the page and include amazing women like Eleanor of Aquitaine and Ermengarda of Narbonne, who shaped history in battles and in bedchambers.

Kick-ass sword? Check.
Kilt? Check.
Spare ribbon for pigtails? Check.
Long socks with pink bunnies? Check.
Leel, the stupid dog? Woof.
Ready for adventure? Hell yeah!

Arcene took one last look in the mirror, twirled so her kilt swished, her silver hair bounced and her sword nearly sliced off Leel's ear, then closed the door to her home and stepped out into the madness.

Get ready for adventure in a world 300 years in the future where The Lethargy almost obliterated humanity and life is far from normal. Giant dogs, strange castles, ravaged cities, problems with sticks (yes, really), rooms that try to kill you just for fun, the occasional panther, dealing with stinky feet, trying to learn how to be young again, encounters with the rat people, and failing to understand the broken minds of corrupt men — If 15-year-old (sort of) Arcene had known what she was about to let herself in for then she would have gone anyway; she’s just that kind of a gal.

Hold on tight, the ride’s about to start. Don't forget your socks (bunnies optional).

Al K. Line returns to good old-fashioned adventure (for the young and the old), where the heroine is almost as bonkers as the world she travels through.

Road Map to Power, a Self-Help/Happiness book by Syed Arshad M.D. and A. Darius Husain

http://www.amazon.com/Road-Power-Syed-Arshad-Husain-ebook/dp/B01636I4VQ

I am pleased to introduce you to Road Map to Power, a revolutionary new book named an Amazon “Hot Release” and rated “5 Stars” from such respected publications as Readers’ Favorite and Goodreads.  Road Map to Power is a direct response to a society that, despite climbing out of one of the most crippling Recessions in its history, still operates under a general malaise and cloud of pessimism.  This current climate of dissatisfaction has led to the meteoric rise of two insurgent presidential candidates posed to challenge the establishment, each on the opposite ends of the political spectrum, in Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.

Road Map to Power explains why, in an attempt to “fix” what we believe to be “broken,” we are conditioned to look outwardly to the examples of the elite and well-connected for solutions.  Furthermore, the book breaks down the root causes for feelings of loss of control in one’s life and the lack of hope for the future.  In the end, Road Map to Power provides a new, inwardly focused path forward that promotes dignity, satisfaction, and happiness.

Along with a sound research foundation, Road Map to Power also works as a compelling narrative.  As a young man growing up in a politically compromised Pakistan who came to the United States in search of a society that valued a man based on his merit and effort, I was not immune to the entrapments of a celebrity obsessed, consumer society.  Compelled by the desire to live a life devoid of ethical compromise, I had somehow become the gatherer of possessions, titles, and things.  Tracing my arc as a survivor of a refugee camp to the formation of a humanitarian organization serving children most traumatize by the world’s worst atrocities, Road Map to Power is a recount of a journey in reclaiming personal power.

Viewing audiences have become totally desensitized to violence and happily addicted to sensational reality TV programming. When seven misfits are deposited on an island in the middle of Lake Superior, three women and four men risk death for a big cash payoff.

As far as the producers are concerned, the fewer survivors, the better the ratings. When the contestants turn the tables on the show’s directors, a terrible accident leaves one person dead and others in fear that a murderer stalks the island. Then the food runs out, leaving them with an even more horrible choice about possible food supplies. Will they survive the cold, the hunger, the producers, the audience members who can pay to make their lives tougher, and their fellow competitors?

“Show Time is a gripping page-turner. Reality TV has never been more frighteningly real.”
—John Fremont, author, Sins of the Fathers

“A vision of the future that is laugh-out-loud, until we realize how much it looks like the world we live in now.”

“A thrilling immersion in the emotional, physical, and sexual reality of characters who thought they were playing a game but find they must fight to survive.”
—Linda Morefield, senior review editor, The Washington Independent Review of Books

http://www.amazon.com/Autobiography-SATAN-Authorized-William-Glasser-ebook/dp/B00UBGNC62

The Story of Satan's Many Struggles, Across the History of Human Existence, to Unshackle the Human Mind, and Open the Gates to Forbidden Knowledge.
From the moment of his first emergence as a single spark in the dimness of prehistory, to the more enlightening force into which he evolves across the full span of human existence, Satan, as he now clearly illustrates, has been urging human beings to open their eyes to the world around them, and to continue seeking, with unfettered minds, for ultimate answers, yet to be found. To do so he must struggle against the persistent attempts to stifle that urge by the "spoon feeders," as he calls them, individuals who have insisted, within every age, and often with a bloody fist, that they, and they alone, are the possessors of the only beliefs that every human being should accept and live by, without question. As Satan traces the history of their many attempts to stop human beings from thinking for themselves, he also takes his readers on a search for the ultimate source of all evil in this world. Readers will obviously enter the book with the standard concept of Satan as a supernatural figure of evil. They will leave the book, however, with a better understanding of how such mind-twisting concepts have been used to keep people away from the "forbidden" knowledge that lies beyond the borders of entrenched beliefs.

Awakenings: a work of literary fiction by Greg Gaines

http://www.amazon.com/Awakenings-Greg-Gaines-ebook/dp/B00S3E2BUM

It's tough learning to live without God. It's even worse when nobody you know can relate to your struggle, let alone guide you through it.

That's what Thomas Giordano finds out when he loses his faith, and with it, his whole reason for being. What's more, his parents and devout brother Christian just can't make sense of the defiance and despondency they see in Thomas. Family tensions build until Thomas's secret is finally exposed, and when he confesses they find his lack of faith more than just disturbing.

As Thomas takes his first steps in a brave (and godless) new world, however, he discovers that he doesn't have to do it alone. New friendships reveal paths he never considered, and Thomas comes to see that the meaning of his life is revealed not through scripture or sermons, but through daring to live and learn.

Yet can Thomas somehow mend his family ties? And how will he ever come to terms with Christian, who's desperate to save his brother from the fate that awaits all sinners?

Sleeping With the Enemy - a erotic romance thriller by Alexis Adaire

http://www.amazon.com/Sleeping-Enemy-Alexis-Adaire-ebook/dp/B019HXGTPU

”Sleeping With the Enemy” is about a woman whose life has grown incredibly boring and predictable, and who longs for something more. Be careful what you wish for, though! Anna Mercer is a CIA technician who wants a little excitement in her job and her love life. A fluke interaction with a potentially dangerous lover gets her noticed by the head of a secret division of the Agency, who recruits her to join his elite spy corps.

Anna is forced to learn to use her intelligence and her curvy body on missions to exotic locations where she employs sexual intimacy as a tool to gather valuable intelligence from dangerous targets. If that weren’t exciting enough, she comes into contact with fellow agent Ryan Demarco, as breathtakingly sexy as he is arrogant. Anna can't resist the urge to mix spy business with alpha-male pleasure. When her heart gets tangled up and things spin out of control, she’s forced to fight for love and decide what’s truly important in her life.

As an author, I enjoy writing about women who don’t have supermodel bodies, but rely on their brains and their willingness to go beyond what most women are capable of doing. Anna is a big girl who has never given in to the intense media pressure saying her size makes her unattractive. She’s smart and sexy and as daring as they come — until she meets the devastatingly handsome Agent Demarco and questions his motives as they begin to fall for one another.

They say nothing ever happens in Cotton Creek.  That might have been true once but not anymore...

Analise Becke writes romance with western heroes, men she has dreamed up by combining the looks of her favorite western actor with the qualities she discovers in her online chats with the Texas rancher, Riley Morgan. She's cooked up more than a few fantasies about Riley over the last year, but knows them for what they are -- fantasies of a lonely woman whose marriage is falling apart.
Riley looks forward to the online chats more than he is willing to admit but has never considered asking what she looks like. She's just an online friend. Yeah, they have a connection, but certainly not enough to even consider that a face-to-face meeting will spark anything other than a solidification of their friendship.

Riley Morgan and Analise Becke are in for a big surprise - actually a series of surprises. Their lives are about to be turned upside down as passion and danger come to Cotton Creek, Texas.

Legends of Windemere: The Merchant of Nevra Coil - An Epic Fantasy Novel by Charles E. Yallowitz

http://www.amazon.com/Merchant-Nevra-Coil-Legends-Windemere-ebook/dp/B01521F8TY

Arriving in time for Christmas, Legends of Windemere: The Mercenary Prince!

Three temples have been purified and the champions are ready for their next adventure in Merchant of Nevra Coil.  The 8th volume of the Legends of Windemere epic fantasy series is filled with the same action and humor as its predecessors. Only this time things are getting a little out of control for our heroes.

When they return to the kingdom of Ralian, the champions find that they are becoming celebrities. At every turn, they are met with mobs of fans, which makes it impossible to continue their search for the next temple. Even more worrisome, the surge in attention threatens to break the curse that keeps Baron Kernaghan locked out of history. If the situation continues, the most evil warlord of Windemere could return to the world long before his enemies are ready to face him. All of this because somebody has made collectible figurines of the champions and several of their enemies.

Now the champions are on the hunt for the creator and aim to put a stop to these toys. Yet finding the gnome behind this fad is only the beginning. Yola Biggs, the exiled Chaos Goddess, is furious about being left out and is out to earn herself a figurine. It doesn’t matter that nobody knows she has sided with the Baron, his presence protecting her from the gods who wish to seal her away. When the unpredictable deity collides with the champions, this adventure goes from threatening an ancient curse to putting the entire world in danger. Who is going to save Windemere when the champions are either trapped in their toys, locked in an asylum, or so confused that they do not even know where to start with a rescue?

Two major focuses of this book are fun and character development. After the events of Sleeper of the Wildwood Fugue, I felt like writing a more lighthearted adventure that still had an impact on the overall story. So while parts of this book can be silly, they still cause every character involved to reach some type of revelation about themselves. One of the central themes in this series is how the characters mature and develop in the midst of their epic adventure. In the case of The Merchant of Nevra Coil, that focus takes more of a central stage. It also paves the way for some major plot points in the future installments and replaces the subplots that have recently been closed. Not to mention, I finally get to showcase Yola Biggs, who has been an entertaining background character for a while.

The Primal Contradiction: My Escape from the Pitfall of Self-Delusion - A New Age Book by Daniel St. Clair

Now Available on Amazon for the low price of $2.99

http://www.amazon.com/Primal-Contradiction-Escape-Pitfall-Self-Delusion/dp/148081993X

The Primal Contradiction: My Escape from the Pitfall of Self-Delusion presents the spiritual memoir of Daniel St. Clair, who examines his own life, beginning with his memories as a young child. He shares his search for an explanation for the profound sense of solitude he shouldered through the years of his youth. Finally, his exploration brings him to a realization of the truth that he had been living by a pretense and that, all along, the real truth of his life had been pursuing him.

Grounded in the detailed recollections of a personal history, the chapters of The Primal Contradiction entwine those stories with the seasoned reflections of the author's look back on his own life. Chapter titles indicate the kinds of topics the author explores: “Adolescence,” “And Then I Die,” “Awakened,” “Good Dog,” “The Cost,” “Doubt,” and “Going Home.”

If you find either inspiration or consolation-or both-in sharing another's journey of self-discovery, then The Primal Contradiction: My Escape from the Pitfall of Self-Delusion will provide you with a thoughtful, honest, and truth-seeking account of one man's journey from self-delusion to the recognition of the truth of his own life.

Seven crews had come before her, each one trusted with the same mission. A substance, a source, a beacon of light, growing somewhere in the universe. There were warnings, collateral damage on a massive scale, and the oppression and opposition that came with this new discovery. They had chosen her out of necessity from the dust that had settled after fear and anxiety had run high.

She had lost everything. She was a heathen, an unfit soul, plagued by visions and a violent conscience whose influence stretched beyond the limits of her mind. Now, out here in the void of space, she must fight to survive against the elements, her inexperience, and those who wish to protect the universe from her mission. She must push forward to fulfill her own sense of worth and to appease those that have sent her here to search for an unstable gift that may finally grant her freedom. From the stable, flat ground of home, to the icy Moon in our orbit, to the God of War, her journey tests the limits of her capabilities and forces her to reexamine the mistakes of the last half-century and find purpose amongst the cold wars.

Are the Androids Dreaming Yet?: Amazing Brain. Human Communication, Creativity & Free Will by James Tagg

Free on Amazon the 16/17th December and 21/22nd December!

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RSIN5SG

Are the Androids Dreaming Yet? A book about artificial intelligence and real intelligence.

Towards the end of 2053 computers will match human intelligence. What will happen then? Will they be our friend, or maybe our masters? Steve Wozniak thinks we will end up being their pets rather like the relationship we have with dogs. Humans would be a computers best friend…

Computers already beat us at chess and are much better at math. IBM’s Watson is pretty good at trivia and is now being taught medicine. Is there something humans can do that they computers will never be able to emulate? If you ask someone on the street they will always answer yes but scientists are pretty much of the view that computers will eventually beat humans at everything.

My book explores this idea and explains why there are somethings a computer can not do -- invent, compose, write poetry and exercise free will. But proving this is quite an exercise? The book takes as its starting the work of Roger Penrose on non-computable problems and extends this to show that many things can not be discovered by a computer. The book looks at our understanding of the brain and intelligence, our modern theory of knowledge and some cutting edge physics around the relationship between information, quantum mechanics and relativity. All this stems from the original Turing theory  that not everything is computable and this fact gives a way for free will to emerge from the otherwise deterministic laws of physics.

If you’ve want to understand some  really cutting edge science without it hurting your head too much this is the book for you.

Who knew it would be so hard to give away a kidney? Certainly not Ellie, who set out to become a living donor only to be held hostage by a multitude of personal and bureaucratic and personal obstacles along the way. An engaging story that is at turns irreverent, inspirational and heartbreaking. Ellie's life-changing mission to give away a kidney will keep you turning the pages well into the night. It might even change YOUR life.

Remarkably Moving. Delivered with generous measures of humor and poignancy, this remarkable story shows Eldonna's lovely soul so clearly.
Being an amazing storyteller is just one of this author's marvelous gifts. Her loving, caring and giving nature shows clearly on these pages. It begs the question, "How can I be of service to others? Amazon reviewer

Heartfelt and Real. This book is not only about organ donation but about life and love and appreciation of both. Not everyone has experienced unconditional love and the profound effect it offers. As the author so beautifully describes this sharing of love has a rippling effect that can't be measured for those how give and those who receive. This book is a true gem. Read it . Amazon reviewer

Couldn't put the book down! Initially I thought that the story would primarily about being a transplant donor. Instead, it was a delightful read about a real life "character" (and Eldonna is a character) with flaws and strengths who puts herself on the line to give a total stranger a new life. Edwards' book reads as though you were having conversation with her at her local coffee shop - she is neither pretentious or self promoting. What was most remarkable is that an ordinary woman was able to do such an extraordinary act. Hats off to Eldonna for getting the conversation going for becoming an organ donor with this incredible book. Amazon reviewer
