Neighbors - kindle ebook by Zanne Sweeney

http://www.amazon.com/Neighbors-Zanne-Sweeney-ebook/dp/B00H9TED3U

Neighbors, Zanne Sweeney’s first novel, is a poignant high-octane drama with a sizzling dose of romance. A scintillating saga of new beginnings that captures readers with its passionate romance and gripping mystery. A witty story line, and easy to love characters provides a fun and sexy read.
Since it’s release Neighbors has received a 5 Star independent review from Readers Favorite, was picked by Romance In Books as a Monday Western Romantic Picks, and has been featured on the front page of the BVW Book Club.

About her new title Sweeney says, “ I loved creating the story in this book. It’s packed with passion, funny happenstances, with a mystery woven in. I wanted the characters to be normal, everyday people. I hope it will have the readers rooting for Grace.”

The story centers on Grace, a widower and mother of two, who lives in the suburbs of New Jersey. Her daughters, friends, and even her job have bound her there for years. When Grace’s Uncle in Wyoming passes away he leaves her his small ranch. Grace jumps at the chance to start anew. When she arrives in her new town of Landgrove, Wyoming, she finds a part time job, adds some pets and farm animals to her new little ranch, and makes friends with the quirky, fun towns people. One of her neighbors, Jed, turns Grace’s dusty love life upside down. The dating scene is nerve wracking enough but add sex into the picture and Grace is completely out of her comfort level.
Follow Grace as she navigates dating the most popular and sexy man in Landgrove. Through out the story a more tumultuous plot develops as Grace finds herself the victim of cruel pranks and sinister acts. Someone is not happy about her moving to Landgrove. The suspects are numerous and readers are kept guessing until the final chapters.

This book is intended for mature audiences. The sex scenes are passion induced and descriptive.

Mistake Me Not - kindle ebook by Scarlett Finn

A dangerous romance with a twist you’ll never see coming.

‘My God,’ he breathed. Again she used the tee-shirt to wipe her mouth, and when she lifted the material she uncovered thick red lines on the delicate skin across her taut body. ‘What did they do to you?’
Her tangled hair shielded her face when she dropped her attention down, and it lingered there increasing his apprehension; he didn’t want her feeling any shame, or guilt. Setting his focus on begging her to look up at him he opened his mouth but in that same second her hands hit the floor, and she crawled toward him. She didn’t stop, she came all the way to him until she sat in the vee of his thighs, and nestled her head under his chin, pressing her cheek to his chest.
‘I’m sorry Baby,’ he murmured kissing her hair. Her legs stretched flat on the floor under his bent knee while his other knee provided her back support. A yell grew within him because in this state he could offer her no support. Holding her was impossible because of the ridiculous restraints on his wrists. He’d kill them. He’d kill them all. Turning his mouth against her again, he rubbed his cheek to her forehead hoping she would look at him, but when his gaze fell he saw that the snap was off her unzipped jeans, and he growled. ‘I’ll kill them.’
‘I want to go home,’ she said.
‘I know Baby,’ he said.

Fourth and Ape, The Field Goal Kicker with the Secret Gorilla Leg, kindle ebook by Jeff Weiss

http://www.amazon.com/Fourth-Field-Kicker-Secret-Gorilla-ebook/dp/B00F78MF4Y

“BA-ROARRRR!”
The giant silverback sat up on the operating table, his eyes ablaze, his muscles flexed and bulging. His teeth were big, shiny and white. He had broken one of this arm restraints and he was swinging and clutching at the air, assailing anything that would be foolish or unfortunate enough to get within his grasp.
I nearly jumped out of my shoes. I took two steps toward the door, but Elko grabbed me by my shirt collar and yanked me back. I couldn’t break his grip. I whipped my neck around to see the gorilla settling back on the table and returning to his slumber. Elko released his hold on my shirt and stood looking at the gorilla, nodding his head as if in approval.
“He does that all the time,” said Elko. “I think he has a bad dream from time to time. Nothing to worry about. He’s gone back to sleep.”
Easy for him to say. I had no experience standing next to a roaring gorilla and I would have been down the hall and halfway across the zoo if Elko hadn’t grabbed me.
Dr. Carlson walked over to the silverback and leaned over the gorilla’s head, probably to assess his breathing. “It might have been a bad dream, but it won’t be long before he wakes up. We’d better hurry,” said Dr. Carlson. “And I think we might need to fix the arm restraint.”
I was having a difficult time calming down after the gorilla outburst. The arm he’d been waving around seemed as big as an oak tree. When he’d roared, he’d opened his mouth so wide I’m sure someone could have stuffed a cantaloupe inside. But who would have wanted to do that? His canine teeth were as long as my index finger and probably sharp as nails. Finally, I collected myself long enough to speak.
“So, I’ve been injected with this gorilla’s genes?” I pointed at the gorilla on the table.
“Why kid, is there another gorilla you’re particularly fond of?” said Elko. Then he let out an uproarious laugh, almost as loud as the gorilla.
“Yes,” said Dr. Carlson. “He’s generally a rather pleasant fellow, except for when he has a bad dream.”
“Or when he goes on a rampage,” said Elko, chuckling.
       “Rampage?”
“Elko, stop it,” snapped Dr. Carlson. “I’ve said enough, perhaps too much, and I’ve really got to get back to this gorilla. Call me if you notice any changes. And just for good measure, here’s an annual membership to the zoo,” he said, handing me a card that he pulled from his lab coat. “Elko, see him out.”
Just like that these crazy scientist wanted to escort me out. After accidentally injecting me with some sort of gorilla serum they felt that they could just toss me out. Well, I had been trespassing, but still...

Betrayal at Angkor Wat - kindle ebook by Rocky Cole

http://www.amazon.com/Betrayal-Angkor-Wat-Asher-Novel-ebook/dp/B00JX1XEHI

Betrayal at Angkor Wat is on sale at Amazon for Kindle at 99 cents.

Betrayal at Angkor Wat is the first book of a planned series. The book features Alex Asher, a contract operative for the CIA and Britain's MI6. As the author I am pleased with the reception of the book so far. Within one day of launch the book had cracked the Kindle top 100 paid books in the political spy thriller genre.

An interesting fact for readers is that almost all of the locations in the book are places I have visited over the years. The idea for this book came from being in London for several weeks in the lead up to the 2012 Olympic games. I was staying at the Chesterfield Mayfair hotel and my wife was doing some work at the U.S. Embassy prior to the Olympics. Every night I would walk her down to the embassy around 10:00 p.m. I was fascinated by the people I would see hanging around Grosvenor Square, and I amused myself by making up little stories about them. One of these stories became Betrayal.

Betrayal at Angkor Wat begins with an assassination attempt in Grosvenor Square that is not what it seems.  After a career in military and civilian intelligence work I wanted to bring some subtle details into the book that are often not known by thriller writers. My goal was to make the book believable but still keep the reader engaged. ~Rocky Cole

The Grass Sweeper God - a historical fiction novel by Doug Howery

http://www.amazon.com/Doug-Howery/e/B00JNCFO52

A story of a wicked family and town folk.  These people have real hard-core prejudices and passions.  They are passionately resolved in their intolerance.

It was the first day of Smiley’s tenth year in the “Mentally Retarded Sophomore Class.”  Smiley had prepared for his first-day-of-school-beating by donning Aunt Lettie’s blouse and his shit-kicking saddle shoes.

A full circle story.  “What goes around, comes around.”

The sun goes down on the sleepy little coal mining camp community of Solitude, Virginia.  But not before nationwide social change brings upheaval:  The NYC Stonewall gay riots of 1969 had been vicious, but the real battle would be won or lost on another continent: Solitude, Virginia.   Permelia Corn and Lee Moore entered the Solitude town limits.  Lee drove the ’59  candy apple red Cadillac convertible onto main street.  Rebellious red reflected off the plate glass of the Ben Franklin Five and Dime, the palladium windows of Ritz’s Restaurant, the colonial windows of the Court House, the stained, lead glass windows of the Opera House, and at last a smear of red reflected off the shiny glass windows of Solitude Funeral Parlor.

Lettie stooped in front of the stereo cabinet, her index finger caressing the trifold, eight by eleven photos of Brac and Chad in the fourth grade, and Lydia in the eighth.  She laid the .38 snub-nosed special on the stereo cabinet.  She turned the trifold face down on the cabinet.  She thought about her children.  She had never owned them, never owned herself, and now they could choose their own road in life.  But she could choose when to exit this world and how.

“What goes around, comes around.”:  “Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him.”

Foreseen - a Kindle contemporary fantasy by Terri-Lynne Smiles

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008E95CCU

A secret organization, four college students who want to change the world, and the ability to covertly alter the decisions of others. What could possibly go wrong?

The Rothston Institute is home to a special class of adepts who can control the decisions of anyone in the world - friends, professors, Senators, you name it. Most adepts train from childhood to hone those skills in pursuit of the Institute's mission: to guide humankind toward a safer future. But college student Kinzie is just discovering her own remarkable powers - and that the best intentions lead down dangerous paths.

This coming of age story, the first in a series, presents a world of intrigue and deception set against credibly posed supernatural abilities.

Debut author “Smiles has created a universe ... where two types of people exist: adepts and commons. Adepts can … influence people’s decisions and they can translocate: move matter from one place to another. Commons don’t have any of these special attributes. Kinzie Nicolosi, a loner and a powerful adept, is a freshman at Hutchins College. Raised by an overly protective single father, Kinzie is on her own for the first time in her life. When an experiment in her science class yields statistically impossible results, [she finds out] that she’s an adept …. First time author Smiles has devised a convincing supernatural culture.... The theoretical concept behind adepts is clearly explained so that even a reader who has never taken a physics course will find it easy to understand. One adept says: “You’ve observed the turbula, correct?...The tunnels branch, sometimes in multiple directions, each heading to a different possible future....We can influence the decision by subtly broadening one branch over another, making it more likely that is the decision which will be made.” By continually paying such close attention to detail, Smiles has proven that she’s skilled at crafting a nuanced page turner.” The Kirkus Review.

Foreseen is a blend of fantasy, soft science fiction, and thriller. "An adventurous twist of genre, much recommended," concludes the Midwest Book Review.

How to Build a God - Non-fiction/Philosophy - Alex McKechnie

http://www.amazon.com/How-Build-God-Last-Biologicals-ebook/dp/B00JOS4RTE

A book about our struggling past, our technological future, and our tendency to build gods.

for a long time now, the process will soon come to fruition. When it does, what will man's position in the universe look like? How will we make sense of conscious artificial intelligences, nanotechnology, and the ability to rewrite our biology at will? How to Build a God begins by looking at how complexity works at a fundamental level, and goes on to build a picture of how our species will develop based on the evolution of complexity. We will examine genetics, robotics, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, mind-uploading, technological superintelligences, backwards causation, faster than light travel, and all manner of potential future technologies and their impact on our species.

Moreover, if machine intelligence is a natural step in the evolution of matter, we can begin to build a whole new picture of the universe at large. Instead of finding ourselves in a dying universe devoid of all meaning, we can begin to cast it in a new light. The cosmos, as well as all of the matter and energy contained in it, starts to look instead like a complexity engine, producing more and more instances of novelty as it ages. If we're an intrinsic part of the process - as we certainly seem to be - then humans begin to look less like the measure of all things, and more like a race of unwitting godbuilders.

Swimming Naked - Memoir by John Ferneau-Leinen

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FI1S32S

“Swimming Naked” is cast in a time when it was fun to be a kid. A time when the two main rules were: Do your chores, and get your fanny home when the street lights come on.

A mile and a half and we reached the cow pasture, and our swimming hole.  Scrabbling through the barbwire fence, Cousin Paul ripping his pants, we took off toward the creek.  Whooping and hollering, racing toward the cooling waters peeling off what few clothes we wore.

Reaching the high bank wearing only our birthday suits we jumped as one landing, much to our surprise, among a herd of about eight cows occupying our space.  That set off a stampede in all directions, and soon we had the swimming hole to ourselves.  We lulled away the rest of the morning, and by afternoon the stirred up mud bottom had turned our spa into what looked like a mud hole, which didn’t dampen our fun one bit.

It must have been about mid afternoon when we heard voices and laughter, girl’s voices and girl’s laughter.  Scrambling up the east bank, we peered over the edge.  There, coming from the east across the pasture toward our swimming hole, was a group of girls wearing uniforms that looked like Girl Scouts, or Campfire Girls.  I didn’t know which, and really didn’t care.  What were we going to do, just sit there in the water until they passed?  Good thing we had muddied the water, at least it would hide most of our naked anatomy.  But I didn’t have to worry.  Paul Lemon sent the girls running and screaming back to where they had come from.  It had been so quick, I really didn’t know what had happened until it was over with.

The Wannabe Author - kindle eBook by Mary Papas

http://www.amazon.com/Wannabe-Author-Mary-Papas-ebook/dp/B00HDP6YBO

The character in this short story works at an office, writing reports that she hates, working with colleagues she hates, for a boss she also hates. What she really wants to do is write a novel and she tries to do that during her work hours at the office. She thinks she has all it takes and everything will be fine. She will be a best-selling author, because it is meant to be and nothing will stand in her way!

She ends up making one mistake after another without realizing it. Even when she starts realizing it, she still cannot admit it to herself, so she keeps walking in that destructive path. Social media, proofreading, creative writing courses, covers, photography...she thinks she has them  all figured out, but she doesn't.

A funny short story, written in a Bridget Jone's diary format, about new authors and all the things that can go wrong in the beginning.  Through the character in the story, The Wannabe Author,  and her journey, I tried to show in a funny way all the mistakes a new, aspiring author can make and how they can harm him.
New authors will hopefully learn to avoid these mistakes and readers will hopefully learn how hard  the life of an author can be. And hopefully, they will also laugh a lot in the process!

Counting the Wounds - Literary Short Story by Best American Short Stories Alum Lyn Coffin

Lyn Coffin's new short story Counting the Wounds introduces us to Susan in a moment of deep personal loss. The story, based on a family tragedy in the author's own life, is one Coffin says has taken her 35 years to write.

Here's what readers are saying about the story:

"This is one of the best and most beautifully written short stories I’ve ever read. It unfolds as a detective story full of mystery and emotional tension. It pulls the reader into the dense atmosphere of a family drama releasing its secrets slowly."

"The reading of it is quick--the pondering after goes on and on."

"Lyn distills the anatomy of loss...masterful.

Coffin was chosen by Joyce Carol Oates for inclusion in The Best American Short Stories in 1979. She's gone on to build a successful writing career as an author of short fiction and novels, as a playwright and a poet, as a translator and an educator. In this story her power as an illustrator of the human experience is on full display. Counting the Wounds is a short read, a character-driven story of loss and grief, but readers will find themselves thinking of their own relationships and perhaps even their own moments of tragedy and loss as they watch Susan struggling to face hers.

When George Atkins finds himself in this exact situation then he chooses to call the dragon Spitfire.  In so doing he finds himself on the most amazing and terrifying journey of his life.  First he is thrown into battle with a group of other dragons; dragons working for the Nazis.  Then, with great reluctance, the RAF recruits George and Spitfire to aid them in their fight against the Luftwaffe.  Along the way George meets new friends, learns how history was rewritten and finds out that he is more powerful than he could have ever have dreamed of becoming.

Family Magic is FREE!

Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of being ordinary. That my mom baked cookies instead of brewing spells That my dad lived with us, not on the demon plane. All I ever wanted was to be like everyone else.

I know what you're thinking. You'd die to live in my world. How cool would it be if magic was real and you could do anything?

You have no idea. Here I am in another new town, but it's the same old thing. Cheerleader bullies? How original. Friendless again? Who's surprised. I suck at fitting in. Especially when I'm in the middle of saving my family from total destruction.

My name is Sydlynn Hayle, and that's my life.

Trade you.

THE D.A.'s FOREVER by Laura Pinto

Kindle Countdown Deal: 99¢ from April 24 through April 30, 2014 (67% off)

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EWP8254

What happens when four greasers from the '50s reunite in the '80s? Probably a better question would be: What DOESN'T? Set in New Jersey, THE D.A.'s FOREVER (no relation to the legal profession) takes the reader on a tantalizing journey back to two eras—the 1980s, when life, music and culture were undergoing a paradigm shift that would ultimately set the stage for the mores and lifestyles of today; and the 1950s (mainly in dialogue, flashbacks, and attitude) as seen through the eyes of the then-teenaged boys who wore leather jackets, combed their hair into ducktails, smoked cigarettes, drank liquor, drove cars, made out with girls, and epitomized "cool." Only, now, the formerly tight group of friends known as the D.A.'s in high school are no longer seventeen and eighteen, but approaching fifty. Geographically scattered throughout the Garden State, all of the guys have jobs, families, and responsibilities; and the last time all four of them had been together was a decade earlier. Now it's June of 1988, and the D.A.'s are convening at their old high school. Though they've attended other reunions in the past, this one—a special week-long celebration honoring the Fifties and taking place thirty years after graduation—proves to be quite different from the previous ones.

The novel begins with Eddy Steinberg preparing to drive two hours to meet with his old friends. He's filled with anticipation but quickly feels let down by the reality; he is stung by the seeming indifference demonstrated by his former comrades at the evening festivities, and he realizes how far apart the guys have drifted over the years. To begin with, the other dudes appear to be acting more like the teenagers they were than the adults they are. In addition to Eddy, the D.A.'s are comprised of Frankie D'Antonio, the founder and leader of the group, whose favorite pastimes seem to be getting drunk and getting laid (not necessarily in that order); Denny O'Reilly, Frankie's best friend and the only divorced member of the quartet, who's worried about his 20-year-old son's lack of success in the romance department; and Tony Franklin, Eddy's best friend, whose marriage and happiness are threatened by the reappearance of his high-school sweetheart. None of the wives are along for the ride, and there's a lot more going on behind closed doors—and out in the open—than Eddy is comfortable observing. Married to his high-school sweetheart and steadfastly faithful as a husband, Eddy had once acknowledged the other guys' extracurricular antics with slightly amused detachment; now, as he realizes the extent of it, he can only watch with thinly disguised disapproval as his cohorts bounce from one woman to another as casually as changing their underwear. To make matters worse, Eddy's heart is captured by a sweet, shy, 24-year-old girl, and for the first time in his married life he's facing a tangible temptation: The girl's quiet innocence and purity instantly transport Eddy back to his youth, a time when life was much less complicated, and it doesn't take long before his thoughts and emotions are in turmoil. Unbeknownst to Eddy, all of the other guys are facing issues of their own, and there are some surprising twists as the story develops.

THE D.A.’s FOREVER is a nostalgic tale of friendship and romance. It’s part comedy, part drama, part satire. It is by turns funny and touching. It’s raunchy and sexy at times; romantic and sentimental at others. It’s a story of friendship, of old love, of new love, and of a love that will never die. Most of all, it’s a coming-of-age story involving not youngsters, but four men who are all being dragged, kicking and screaming, into the present-day world where grownups live. NOTE: Mature content (sex and language); reader discretion advised.

The Mountain City Bronzes - kindle ebook by Madeleine McLaughlin

Innocence and Evil. One cannot exist when the other is present. The friendliness and support of an isolated small town by the snowy mountains seems ideal. Especially for a small boy with everything he needs right there, meaning his father. As he navigates the characters of his tiny home, his head is firmly attuned to the good, again his father, who he hero-worships.

Kevin, that is the boy's name, wants to do good, only good. He is warned by two jailbirds to 'grow up like his father' and he does listen. So innocence exists in small towns and small boys. But where does evil live? Is it in the snow-capped peaks of the mountains, two jailbirds named Chester and Lorne or is it right behind that old locked door that Kevin finds.

ALLEGRA by Anna Lisle

1822: Byron's young illegitimate daughter dies in an Italian Convent, banished from the mother who adored her. 1838: young Alice Clarke, unhappily married to a brutal man, is pursued on London's streets by a mysterious Greek man and a cloaked woman. Alice illicitly loves a sea captain sailing the perilous route to India around Africa. When he vanishes on a voyage, her pursuers draw her into an increasingly tense game of cat and mouse, played out between the early Victorian squalor of London's Rookeries and the splendor of its new Mayfair squares. A murder in Regent's Park reinforces the message that Alice is involved in a very dangerous game. But how can she possibly be linked to a brilliant and notorious group of English poets living in Italy sixteen years earlier?
British author Anna Lisle is no stranger to world of fiction -- she also writes as the traditionally published Eliza Graham, author of, among other titles, Playing with the Moon, a bestseller in Europe. Eliza has morphed into Anna for the purposes of writing novels with a Victorian setting. As you'd imagine of a Brit writing about nineteenth-century London, Anna Lisle writes in British English.

Simple Thoughts - kindle ebook by Xavier Grice

This is a book about the observations of a father and average working man. Some of these passages are meant to inspire and maybe have people think of some topics differently. A part of this book is very personal and was wrote as a way to heal myself from the drama I was dealing with myself. Hopefully some of these pages will help someone else as it did me by writing it. I am a father of three teenagers and a man coming off a broken relationship/marriage. I hope writing this book will help other men channel their anger in a more constructive way as I did instead of fighting with their ex, write, draw, compose music whatever your interest my be use it to cope with the pain of a failed relationship in a positive way.

Married To A Vegan, Kindle nonfiction eBook by Caren Albers

http://www.amazon.com/Married-Vegan-Embraces-Healthy-Plant-Based-ebook/dp/B00JJCP9ZQ

FREE PROMOTION - April 28, 29, & 30

Married To A Vegan is a healthy living, healthy relationship, and change management book, all rolled into one. It’s about how making big changes can dramatically affect our relationships and our lives, and is not short on drama or humor.

A husband’s sudden, full-blown conversion to a vegan lifestyle changes a couple’s relationship and takes them on a journey that threatens to turn their marriage upside down. When half of a couple turns vegan, it requires negotiation, compromise, and commitment on steroids. Frankly, if he wanted to totally shake things up, she would have preferred a Sister Wife.

Dr. Neal Barnard, New York Times Bestseller author of 21-Day Weight Loss Kickstart - Boost Metabolism, Lower Cholesterol, and Dramatically Improve Your Health (the book that prompted the demon, I mean vegan conversion), wrote a great endorsement for the book.

Married to a Vegan entertains and at the same time offers new, healthy ideas for readers to consider embracing. Did I mention it has yummy recipes so delicious that you won’t believe they’re vegan, and a surprise ending? No, I don’t think I did.

Even if you’re not married to a vegan (most lucky souls aren’t), you can identify with this book.

At some point in everyone’s life, they adopt new beliefs like exploring a new religion, or lifestyle changes like becoming an ultra-marathoner, taking up running, or simply making changes in their normal diet and exercise routine. These changes create tectonic shifts in their perspectives and their lives.

Married To A Vegan is about one such earthquake and the surprising aftermath.

Cheyne stokes respiration is a pattern of breathing that can be demonstrated at the end of life. Luckily, it is a term few people are familiar with. Laura becomes all too familiar with this symptom of severe heart failure when she first witnesses it…from her newborn daughter, Hannah.

Heart failure is Laura’s introduction to life as a mother of a special needs child. While it initiates her into a “lifestyle” she never dreamed she would face, it is far from her most daunting challenge. Take this journey with Laura as she struggles to understand, keep up with, and survive the unforgiving hand of fate. Sit by her side as she holds Hannah down for hours of IV attempts. Yell in rage and frustration with Laura, as she struggles with her failing marriage. Cry with her as she attempts to reassure her older daughter, Emily, after her diagnosis of autism. Sit in numb disbelief with her as she holds Hannah’s tiny hand through marathon seizures. Witness Laura frantically try to maintain a weak grip on her own sanity.

And when all hope appears lost, behold an unexpected love that lights Laura’s way through her darkest days and offers her the strength to not just endure, but to shine all on her own.

With Angel's Wings is my story. All names were changed, but the story is 100% true. For non-parent readers or readers who are parents of typical children, I welcome you to walk a few steps with me, to take a peek into a world far removed from your own. For fellow special needs parents, With Angel's Wings is an offering of hope. We all have days of struggle and strife; times when it is easy to fall prey to the darkness. But if I could navigate my way through some of my roughest times, despite my ignorance and many, many mistakes, you, too, can conquer your challenges and soar.

The ABC Room - erotica kindle book promotion by A.V. Roe

The ABC Room - erotica kindle ebook promotion by A.V. Roe
It was an innocuous two line advertisement looking for sperm donors. Nothing out of the ordinary in a big city like San Francisco. Liam Sage is a normal, healthy, horny, pre-med college student, always short of funds. Listen to him tell his serendipitous tale about finding the perfect job and meeting the women of his dreams ... wet dreams that is. And I didn't say woman. This is a polyamorous, menage short story. Follow his adventure as he finds out that instead of donating sperm into a sterilized cup, the requirement for donation is in the flesh. And instead of making donations sporadically, he will be hired for a job to fulfill the fantasies of clients in a BDSM dungeon. Some of the fantasies are typical sexual fantasies of the cuckold variety, but some of the clients actually want to be bred.

This short story was the result of criticism of my first novel, that I didn't lend enough emphasis to the voice of the characters as they were developed. The novel plot had been kicking around in my head for some time, so I wrote this short story in the first person in order for the reader to enter the world of the character and feel what he felt. The basic plot for the story stemmed from a conversation I wrote in my novel, Our Rules Of Engagement, where characters divulged their most taboo erotic fantasies. I hope you enjoy this erotic fantasy story.

My standard warning: this short story is in the erotica genre and is intended for adult audiences and all of the characters are adults.

They grow close as they deal with thieves, fire, and tragedy, but in the end, it is their very dreams that may tear them apart.”

Reviewed by Book Review Preview:
The year 1849 was an alluring time in American history especially to the Argonauts- the term used to describe those who moved to California during the Gold Rush. Lilly transports the reader back in time with such ease, the ambience, textures and hunger for gold come to life during a time when life was hard and the working/living conditions were even harder and at times deplorable.

With well thought out and placed characters, both of the main characters have their fair share of hardship and misfortune like many of those around them. Many over came the odds of the times. Many did not. My favorite quote from the story, “ Adversity makes a person grow and teaches them how to live”.

Rich in historical detail, the reader will come to understand the panning process and get a glimpse of what is was like to pan out in the goldfields. I felt it very interesting to look into the early daguerreotype and picture taking process along with learning about the developing of the plates with mercury vapors.

Having recently watched the mini series Klondike, I can easily see this story being made into a mini series as well. It reminded me of the made for tv movies by director Michael Landon Jr. A good, clean, and well written historical read for any older middle grades and up. Looking forward to book 2 and the continuing story of Lucinda, Luke, George and the rest of the cast of characters.

When Adin asks Legacy out on a date, she is thrilled her fantasy is becoming a reality, regardless of the Greek Goddess nonsense, but when she meets a new guy in town, River, she discovers everything isn’t always as it seems, and the legacy she wants just might not be the legacy she is destined to have.

Goddess Secret: Legacy only thought she had this goddess thing under control. Well, as much as any other chick could have given the crazy circumstances. But when she learns the truth about her abilities, she is forced to keep a secret so powerful that she and the people closest to her could get hurt if it falls into the wrong hands.

Goddess Sacrifice: Legacy wouldn’t let a little thing like changing into a goddess distract her from the joys of her senior year in high school, hanging with her friends, or getting closer to Adin. And while Legacy is wrapped up with living her life in the now, forces are at work solidifying her future.

Getting even. Legacy dives into a betrayal of her own making as she teaches her lesson. One thing’s for certain—revenge doesn’t come without a price.
